Lately I’ve been posting mostly black and white photographs. I don’t know why but I feel like my photographs seem to look nicer when converted to black and white.
Anyways, enough of my babbling…
Here are a few interesting tidbits that I got from my Paris guidebook:
The engineer who created the Eiffel tower was Gustave Eiffel.
The tower is 320 meters high.
It is composed of 15,000 separate pieces of metal welded and inter-weaved together.
Weighs 7,000 tons.
The tower has three floors: First: 57 meters, Second: 115 meters and the Third: 274 meters.
My apologies if the photograph is a bit blurry since I did not have a tripod with me.
*Note to self: always bring a tripod when you travel (preferably travel size).
